| Clash of the Chords 2 returns to Lindsay with youth talent and community spirit After a standout debut last year, Clash of the Chords is back for its second year, promising another exciting evening of live music, community connection, and youth talent. Clash of the Chords 2 will take place on Friday, May 29, 2026, at the Lindsay Legion. Organized and hosted by local Grade 12 student Jonas Giese of LCVI, the event was created to give young musicians a chance to perform in a supportive, live setting—something that can be difficult to find in the Kawartha Lakes area. With a growing lineup of talented performers, this year’s event is expected to build on the energy and success of its inaugural show. In addition to showcasing emerging talent, the event continues its commitment to giving back. A portion of proceeds will once again be donated to United Way Haliburton Kawartha Lakes, an organization Giese has supported and volunteered with since early childhood.
