Making Environmental Connections
Considering going to college for a program related to the Environment? If so, you may be interested in Making Environmental Connections. In this TLDSB/Fleming College joint project, you will earn Cooperative Education Credits while you develop your skills at Frost Campus, Fleming College and participate in work experiences.
What in it for me?
If you successfully complete Making Environmental Connections:
- you will be able to start at Fleming College, Frost Campus in second semester saving you time and money,
- you will participate in hands-on activities at the college, giving you a better understanding of college programs you might be interested in,
- you will improve your employability skills through the completion of sector certification (e.g. WHMIS),
- you may also be eligible for an articulation agreement with a related university degree program.
What do I need to do?
You must have taken, or will be taking in Semester 1 the following courses: Biology (SBI3C), English (ENG4C), Physical Geography (CGF3M), Math for College and Apprenticeship (MAP4C). Contact Student Services for more information.
